Endeavors range from setting up a $1M center at IIT Kharagpur to start-up funds for new ventures to funding scholarships to new chapters and many more
The IITs, IIMs, AIIMS and a few additional Indian institutions have established themselves as global brands. Their alumni are trailblazers and leaders in diverse fields and brand ambassadors in most walks of life. However, none of the Indian institutions are currently in the top 200 in majority of world rankings on research universities. Further, none of the Indian institutions are comprehensive by design.

What changes in the funding models, governance and policy could enable the transformation of higher education in India?
The panel consisting of a Provost, faculty members and administrators from world-class research universities, IIT Directors, and a co-founder of a newly established university in India will discuss these timely and important questions.
