IIT 2013 ended on a high note. Conference team got overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The final numbers were:
Over 1600 attendees, over 90 speakers, over 22 hours of program content, over 6 hours of entertainment, and 100 sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers.
Heartfelt thanks for the tremendous support from sponsors, speakers, delegates, exhibitors, the Pan IIT movement, local Houston community and the volunteers.
This conference was focused on five cutting edge sectors/areas that wove a tapestry of innovations for this not-so-distant future. These five were Sustainability, Technology, Energy, Education and Life Sciences (STEEL).
Conference’s star speakers included Amartya Sen, Gene Kranz, Andrew Gould, Vicente Fox, Renu Khator, David Leebron, Blake Irving, P. Harish, Bharat Desai, Partha S Ghosh, and many others.
In addition, the attendees enjoyed a powerful entertainment package including Usha Uthup, the Fab 5 and Dan Nainan. Usha Uthup just rocked Saturday night, literally bringing the crowd to its feet.
Hope the Houston conference did inspire innovation for tomorrow!
